About me

Hi, I’m Marine.
People often talk about their bucket list, mine is different.
I call it my Leave List.
A bucket list is filled with dreams for one day. A Leave List is about the places you’re actively planning to visit with the annual leave you actually have. It’s where curiosity meets reality. For me, every trip begins long before I board a plane. It starts with one simple question:
What’s next on my Leave List?
Like most people, I work full-time. My annual leave is limited, my weekends are precious, and every trip has to fit around real life. I consider myself a part-time globetrotter with a full time job. I created The Leave List for people like me, curious explorers who dream of seeing the world and want to make every day of annual leave count.
The places I dream about during my lunch break. The destinations I save for my next annual leave. The experiences I refuse to keep putting off while waiting for the “perfect time.”

Making every day away count
I’ve always been the person who researches a destination for weeks before booking a flight. While other people are scrolling social media, I’m comparing neighbourhoods, building itineraries, finding hidden restaurants, mapping routes, and figuring out how to experience the very best of a destination in the time I have.
For me, planning is part of the adventure. I love discovering places I hadn’t heard of before, finding the perfect neighbourhood to stay in, and creating itineraries that balance iconic sights with local experiences. There’s something incredibly satisfying about turning a list of possibilities into a trip that flows effortlessly.
And because annual leave is limited, the little things matter too. Knowing how to plan around bank holidays, build a smarter itinerary, pack efficiently, find the right travel tools or avoid wasting hours getting from A to B can make a huge difference.
That’s why The Leave List isn’t just about where to go, it’s about how to make the most of the time you have.
I don’t believe you need six months off to explore the world.
I believe you simply need the right plan.
